     1. First, pre-judge the total working weight of the cart, including its own weight and maximum load. The total weight multiplied by 80% divided by 4 is basically the required load on a single caster.

     2. Consider the diameter of the wheel, the larger the diameter of the caster, the more effortless it is to push, and the better the passability. For example, if you are on a flat indoor floor, you can choose large or small diameter stainless steel casters according to the design requirements under the premise of meeting the load bearing. On the contrary, if it is outdoors, we usually choose stainless steel casters with a larger diameter to ensure that it has good passability.

     3. Select the material of stainless steel casters according to different working environments. If the cart is used in hospitals or indoors or other environments that need to be kept quiet, then it is best to use stainless steel casters made of TPR. Because TPR wheels have low noise and can protect the ground from scratches. But if the stainless steel caster wheel is used outdoors, then we suggest that it is best to use nylon or PU stainless steel caster wheel. Because nylon and PU stainless steel casters have better wear resistance & more suitable for outdoor rough ground..

     4. Regarding the selection of stainless steel caster bearings, the main function of the bearings is that the casters with bearings under a certain weight can be pushed more effortlessly to reduce the loss of manpower. Stainless steel casters are usually matched with different bearings according to the working environment.

      For example:

      If the stainless steel casters are relatively clean and smooth indoor floor, we only need to match conventional bearings. Because the grease on the bearing is enough for protect it from rust to a certain extent.

      However, if the stainless steel caster is to be used in a very humidly or salty and acid-base environment, it is best to use the stainless steel caster with a special stainless steel bearing to ensure the flexibility of rotation, but the disadvantage is that the price is very high. Or just use nylon wheels without bearings because nylon has good self-lubricating properties, so nylon stainless steel casters can rotate flexibly without bearings. If it is a stainless steel PU caster, then it can be equipped with Terling bearings. (Of course, hydrolysis-resistant PU wheels should also be used)

     5. According to the requirements of the working environment, stainless steel 304 casters or stainless steel 316 casters can also be selected.
